English Version
Ten years ago, I bought a book called Professional Life from a bookstore. It was about the field of paid knowledge services. At the time, I strongly agreed with the author’s viewpoint, but unfortunately, I never took any action based on the book’s content.
Looking back now, the author’s ideas were very ahead of their time. We are now in an era of paid knowledge, where if you are professional enough to solve problems and provide value for others, people will pay you for it. This experience has taught me a painful lesson: when your actions fail to keep up with your beliefs, it becomes a source of suffering.
After deeply reflecting on this, I have come to a conclusion: the best time to plant a tree was ten years ago, and the second best time is now.
It’s time to act. Results only come from doing; if you don’t act, problems will surround you. After all, you are getting older every day, and life is limited.

I’ve been thinking a lot about “getting things done” lately. It’s funny how some days you just wake up and feel like you can conquer the world, while on other days, even the simplest tasks feel like climbing a mountain. Today, I’m definitely in the former camp. I started the day with a workout, then tackled that daunting report I’d been putting off for a week. The feeling of ticking items off my to-do list is incredibly satisfying. It’s not about being productive all the time, but about finding a rhythm that works for you. I think for me, the key is to start small and build momentum. One little victory leads to another.

Today was another one of those days where my procrastination won. The to-do list is staring at me, mocking me with all the tasks I didn’t even attempt to start. I had a clear plan this morning: tackle the messy closet, then draft that email I’ve been meaning to send for days. But instead, I found myself scrolling through social media for an hour, then watching a pointless TV show. I feel this frustrating lack of drive and it’s draining my energy. Why is it so hard to just get going? I know I’ll feel so much better once these things are done, yet the gap between knowing and doing feels like an impossible chasm. I need to find a way to break this cycle.
